One of the most famous walks in Spain is the pilgrims walk or Camino de Santiago which terminates in the famous cathedral city of Santiago de Compostela the supposed burial place of St James. The region of Galicia is famous for its spectacular coastline of estuaries and rock pools and for the amazing variety of seafood.

Choosing a walking holiday in Spain is a tantalizing prospect.  There is just such a variety of scenery,  culture, food and drink, one is spoilt for choice.  The best advice would be to look carefully at all the different areas Spain has to offer and try to pick one that fits the bill.  If you're a serious walker, you may want to explore some of the more mountainous areas of the Pyrenees mountain villages.
