I have included a
page showing this monastery because I was so impressed with the
beautiful setting and I would hate anybody traveling in the area to
miss such a gem. Set in some of the most beautiful scenery you could
imagine the Valverna Monastery is an oasis of tranquility.
Surrounded by mountains the monastery looks out over a beautiful
valley in which a sparkling river flows. Sit and listen, all
you hear are birds and the river.
