SKIING HOLIDAYS IN SPAIN
In
many people's minds skiing is not usually associated with
Spain but there are some excellent ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada
and Pyrenees mountains. Skiing holidays in Spain are becoming very
popular and are usually far more affordable than their costlier
French, Austrian and Swiss counterparts. Manzaneda is the only ski
resort in Galicia. There are a few companies offering skiing
holidays in Manzaneda Galicia. The resort is open all year round and
offers mountain climbing, biking and horse riding amongst its range
of outdoor pursuits. There are also heated swimming
pools and restaurants offering gourmet Galician cuisine. This
is a popular resort which can cater for up to 2,000 people. The ski
station is at 1800mtrs. The resort has snow cannons to
supplement the natural snowfall
