The Costa Brava is
one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain, with hundreds
of hotels and apartments to choose from. Many online booking
agencies offer the same hotel but prices vary from one agency to
another. Hotels Combined is a free to use independent search
engine which compares the prices of all the most popular
hotels along the coast and the prices being charged by all the major
online booking agencies. The results are displayed in an easy to
read format, saving you hours of trawling through all the
different booking agent sites.
Use the
Hotels Combined search box below to see what's
available and easily find the best prices on the Costa Brava.
Can It Really
Save Money?
Before deciding
whether to display the Hotels Combined search engine on our
website, I did a lot of research to see if there were any worthwhile
savings to be made. In the past, to book a hotel, I
would have found the first booking agent I came across, probably
using Google, chosen a hotel and assumed that the price was what the
hotel was charging. I'm sure that's what most people do.
When I tried the Hotels Combined search engine,
I wasn't really expecting that any money could be saved but
the results were incredible; I had no idea that the top booking
agencies were charging such vastly different amounts for the same
hotels. I had to look twice because I couldn't believe some of
the price differences.
Easily Save Over
30 Euros A Night
I compared hotel prices in Lloret de Mar
for 2 weeks in July high season because of its status as
one of the Costa Brava's main tourist destinations and frequently
found savings of over thirty euros a night on 4 and 5 star hotels -
that's a saving of over 200 euros a week - and more
than fifteen euros a night on lots of 3 star hotels.
An example
of just how much it is possible to save was the 5 star Gran
Guitart hotel.
Okay the above is an extreme example and not many
families will be spending their fortnight holiday in a 5 star luxury
hotel, so here are some more affordable three and four star hotel
prices I compared. The 3 star Aqua Bertran was offered by three
agencies between 72 and 85 euros per night. A saving of 13
euros per night or 182 euros on a fortnight holiday.
That saving would buy you some good nights out. Even on 2 star
accommodation big savings can be made.
Some More Examples
Take another example the Norai 2 star Hotel
this came in between 58 and 76 euros a night, 18 euros a night which
you could have lost by going straight to the first booking agent you
found. The list goes on. The 3 star Acapulco was listed
by three booking agencies Hotel-Board 60 euros a night, Skoosh 62
euros and Hotels.co 71 euros, eleven euros a night saving. The
3 star Ridomar hotel differed in price by 19 euros a night.
These are savings you can't afford to ignore. These
prices were taken at random from the Hotels Combined search
engine for dates between the 4th and 18th July 2009.
There really are huge savings to be made on
hundresds of popular hotels all along the Costa Brava and Costa
Dorada. I don't blame you if you are a bit skeptical but
don't take my word for it, have a look yourself. I've put the
Hotels Combined search engine below. Its free to use
and take less than a couple of minutes to find the hotels and prices
being charged.
