There are hundreds of hotels in Barcelona ranging from budget to 5 star luxury. With the advent of cheap flights to Barcelona airport, it is now very easy to organise a short city break online. Budget airline prices are extremely low, provided you book early.  The prices increase nearer to the departure date. Don't think that the price you checked two months ago will still be the same, its likely to have rocketed.  In can't be stressed too much that to get a bargain, you have to book early. The same applies to a slightly lesser extent to hotels.   The best way to find a good hotel online, would be a price comparison website, like the ones you see advertised on the TV for car insurance etc. I did a bit of searching around and the best one I found was Hotels Combined.  This site is very fast at getting the data, it uses over thirty of the major hotel reservation websites and displays a long list within a few seconds.  What I liked most about it, was the way you could sort the list by hotel name, price, star rating, user rating, popularity or location. If you tried to get all this information by trawling through the different hotel reservation sites, it would take hours.
