Ruidera Spain is a
unique area of Castillia La Mancha far removed from the hot dry
capital city of Toledo and the surrounding countryside. This part of
La Mancha is a national park famous for the beautiful chain of
fourteen lagoons (las lagunas de Ruidera) which straddle the area.
Ruidera itself is a small village with a population of approx 600.
Ruidera has a long history dating back to before the time of the
Romans and even as far back as the iron age. There are rivers
and streams connecting the lagoons together with some beautiful
waterfalls. If you enjoy fishing, there is some
fantastic angling in the lagoons.

for a back to nature holidayy, surrounding the lagoons are some
wonderful forests. There are Flamingos, Lapwings,
