A family orientated resort, Playa Blanca was once a small fishing village. The harbour area gives a clue to the villages origins. In recent years a certain amount of expansion has taken place but the essential village feel has not
been totally lost. There are some excellent restaurants and bars and several large hotels. Playa Blanca is an excellent location for a laid back holiday, never too noisy but with enough to do for most families. If you explore around the headland to the east of the resort you can discover
some excellent beaches which at times are almost deserted. |
