Arricife the capital of Lanzarote is home to the airport and main port.  It is the commercial centre of the island. Despite its modern high rise buildings, Arricife still retains much of its past charm.  Its Palm tree lined promenade and excellent beach stand out.  There are some superb restaurants and shops to explore and a nice museum and art gallery
