Santa ponsa is situated on Majorca's southwest coast approx 12kms from Palma.  It has a large beach and promenade which divides the beach area from the pine trees.  Being so close to Palma, the beach can become extremely busy in the summer months.  Santa Ponsa is extremely popular. It is a much more relaxed  resort than its neighbours Magaluf and  Palma Nova and has built up a strong following from Scottish visitors.
