PALMA

Palma is the capital of the island of Majorca.  It is dominated by its magnificent Gothic cathedral which was built on the site of a mosque.  The cathedral was started in around 1400 and finished in 1587.  Since then modifications have been made especially to the interior, which was re designed by Antoni Gaudi.  Palma itself is a bustling and chic city with a large harbour.  The city is small but would make an ideal place for a weekend break.  There are lots of up market  restaurants,  bars and shops. Most budget airlines use Palma airport and there are many hotels in the city ranging from budget to five star.

HOTELS IN PALMA

The best way of finding a hotel on the internet is to use a comparison site like the ones you see on the TV.  I did a bit of searching around and found one I really liked called Hotels Combined, I found it extremely fast and easy to use so I decided to put a link to it for you. I've already found the Palma page, so all you need to do is enter the dates you want to go, click here to try it out
