ALCUDIA
Alcudia
on Majorca's Northeast coast boasts the longest beach on the
island. The bay of Alcudia is a fantastic place for
sunbathing and water sports. Alcudia is quite a large
family holiday resort popular with young and old. Holidays
in Alcudia have been popular for over twenty years. The main
street, bellevue mile has over 200 bars and
restaurants, more than enough to cover most tastes. There
is also an interesting older area to explore, in fact, Alcudia
is the oldest city in Majorca dating back to the time of the
Phonecians. There are Roman ruins to explore and the
city walls date back to the 14th century. Alcudia is
only a short drive from the resorts of Cala Bona and Pollensa.
There are two golf resorts nearby. The harbour area in the
North of the city retains more of a Spanish atmosphere ,
with tapas bars and more traditional Spanish
restaurants.
