Santa Eulalia is Ibiza's third largest resort. It is situated
on the east coast, close to the resort of Es Cana and the hippy
market. Santa Eulalia has developed into a chic up market
resort, a million miles from the diso capital of San Antonio.
The area around the front of the church is a popular meeting place
where people congregate for morning coffee. Some of the
island's finest restaurants are in Santa Eulalia. Since the
early seventies, Santa Eulalia has developed beyond recognition,
especially around the sea front. Prior to 1970, there was no
beach in Santa Eulalia and to get to a sandy beach meant either
driving or going by boat. There is now a fine sandy beach a
new promenade and a good harbour area.
