A handy suburb close to Ibiza Town (only 5 mins drive) Figueretas would make an ideal location for staying over while exploring Ibiza Town's nightlife. The best reason to stay in Figueretas is the beach but the town itself is also a great place to see.  Because of its proximity to Ibiza port, there is a nice international feel to it.  In the evening, the promenade area comes alive with artists and small market stalls selling all manner of trinkets and handmade jewelry.  The beach itself is flanked by the palm tree lined promenade  with apartment blocks and a good range of hotels.

Taxi fares have shot up in the past couple of years, areturn taxi from Ibiza airport to  Figueretas will set you back a whopping £130.00 If you're like me, you'd rather be spending the money on a couple of nights out. Luckily you don't have to spend a fortune on your transfer.
