SPANISH WINE ASTURIAS

Asturias is one of the few regions of Spain not normally associated with wine production, however there is an area of Asturias, Cangas de Narcea, with a suitable sub climate which enables some wine production.  The wine cannot normally be found outside the Asturias area.  The region of Asturias has an excellent climate for apple growing and the drink of the region is the famous Asturian cider "sidra".
