CANGAS DE OŅIS

Cangas de Oņis was home to Pelayo, an eighth century Visigoth nobleman and one of the heroes of the reconquest of Spain.  The town has a beautiful  Roman bridge and also a 15th Century chapel, it is known as the gateway to the Picos de Europa.
