Angling holidays in Spain are becoming increasingly popular.
Asturias is one of the few areas of Spain to offer fly fishing for
Salmon and trout as well as sea angling on the Costa Verde. The fly
fishing season starts in April and runs through until mid
September with good sized Salmon and Trout being reported. The
Salmon rivers are the Cares-Deva and Sella. Some of the rivers
are "no kill" to keep stocks high. Sea angling is good with a
wide variety of catches from the many beaches and rocks in the area.
There are number companies dedicated to angling holidays in
Asturias. Most fishing holidays in Asturias are in the
mountains of the Pico de Europa an area famed for its natural
beauty.
