The river Ebro, Spain's largest river flows through the region of Aragon, providing some of the best angling in Spain.  There are huge carp and catfish in some parts of the Ebro and a small industry has built up offering angling holidays to the area.  There are companies offering all inclusive holidays including guides, transport and accommodation , in fact everything you need for a fantastic fishing holiday.  Licenses and permits are required for angling in most regions of Spain.  Organising an angling holiday through a specialist company removes the hassle of trying to obtain the correct paperwork needed.  If you are seasoned angler used to the vagaries of the British weather, to sit on the river bank dressed only in shorts and t shirt is sheer joy.  Catfish over 200lbs have been caught in the Ebro and carp of 40lb plus are not uncommon.
