Fuengirola is a beach
resort a few kilometers south of Benalmadena and
Torremolinos. It has a long promenade flanked by bars
and restaurants. The resort is predominantly English
with lots of bars restaurants and English and Irish pubs.
Fuengirola is popular with young families, anybody
wanting a livelier holiday would probably be better looking
at
Torremolinos.
There is plenty entertainment for children including a small
fairground and water park. Most tour operators offer
coach trips to places of interest in the area.
Nowadays many people plan their own holidays using cheap
flights into Malaga and booking a hotel online. Booking your
own hotel can save you a fortune and there are cheap
transfers between Malaga airport and Fuengirola, companies
likeResorthoppa

Because of the number of
golf courses
in the area, Fuengirola is a popular base for golfing
holidays. If you hire a car for your holiday you will
be able to explore many places of interest up and
down the Costa de Sol and also some lovely inland towns and
villages.
