Buses and taxis are also within walking distance (10mins walk). Taxi's can be booked direct from apartment. Calahonda has a beach approx 10min walk but a bit rocky. Excellent beach is 'Capobino' which is 7 mins in the car or by cab. There are many other excellent beaches to visit nearby 10-15min walk.

 Calahonda is a small quiet resort, but still with plenty of night life if you want it. The apartment is situated close some of the Costa del Sol's most popular resorts.i.e. Marbella 20mins drive. Puerto Banus 25mins drive. Fuengirola 15mins drive. Belamadena 20mins drive. Mijas 20mins

Gilbratar, plus many more. Within these resorts there are many local attractions such as Seaworld (Belamadena)-Zoo (Fuengirola)-Markets(La Cala) Aqua Park(Fuengirola)- Shopping Malls inc Cinemas - Golf - plus lots more. It is advisable to hire a car as a Taxi to apartment is approx 50euros one way .

 This also gives you the opportunity to visit other resorts, although it is not necessary if you want to stay local. Overall, if your looking for a comfortable place to stay but with lots going on if you want it, then  Gran Calahonda apartments are the place for you.
