La Nucia is situated
approx 5kms from Benidorm. There is now a dual
carriageway running from Benidorm right into La Nucia and
the area is becoming popular with people buying second
homes. This is because of the proximity to Benidorm
(about 10 mins by car) combined with the mountainous scenery
which includes orange groves, there are also excellent
shopping facilities. There are a large number of
urbanisations springing up all along the road from Benidorm
to La Nucia. The original town of La Nucia has been
extensively modified and is a pleasant area for as stroll
with some nice bars and restaurants. Every Sunday
morning, there is a large flea market selling everything
from clothes to antiques. La Nucia is very
close to the theme parks of Terra Mitica Terra Natura and
also the new golf clubs and Real de Faula hotel complex.
