The city of Castellon on Spain's costa azahar is a place of contrasts.  The historical buildings, the large modern boulevards with state of the art shops, miles of sandy beaches, plus a ceramic tile industry and a large harbour area  (el Grau).  Castellon has a population of over 165,000 and covers a large area.  When driving down the motorway past Castellon it seems to go on forever, with numerous turn offs to the city suburbs.  Castellon de la Plana is 64 kms North of Valencia and is the capital of the Castellon  region.
