THE COMPLEX
La Florida phase two is a small
urbanisation set inland five minutes drive from the coast. It is
one of a number of communities in the area. Our holiday home
occupies a ground floor corner position with six steps leading
to a small terrace immediately outside the door - perfect for
early morning coffee.
Our apartment is situated
in a small urbanisation called La Florida, which is a balance of
year round residents and holiday homes alike.
Below the
terrace is an L shaped patio garden,which is ideal for those
balmy evenings and al fresco dining. There is also ample space
for sun loungers, all garden furniture is provided. The location
of the garden is very secluded but yet only matter of few paces
away is a beautiful swimming pool solely for the use of
residents and generally is very quiet.
The air conditioned apartment has
a through lounge/diner with comfortable seating and an
extendable dining table with seating for four. For your
entertainment there is satellite TV,
DVD and a HiFi with CD player. It has
an American style kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven
combi microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 4 ring electric hob with
extractor and washing machine. You will find the kitchen very
well equipped with plentiful crockery, pans and cutlery.
To the rear of the kitchen is
another small patio area where you can sit and catch the
sun or use as a utility area. It contains one twin bedroom and
one master bedroom, which can be made up as singles, or into a
kingsize, it's your choice.
The bathroom is fully equipped
with over bath shower and WC. The sink has an additional lit
vanity unit and there are also ample towel rails. All bed linen
and bathroom towels (not to be removed from the apartment)are
provided.
For your comfort we have fitted
3 speed-ceiling fans in the two bedrooms and lounge area.
Mosquito nets and roller blinds are fitted to the windows and
extra security locks are fitted to the doors.
THE AREA
The Torrevieja region is rated by
the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to
live in the world. Partly because of the sunshine, but also
because of the two huge natural salt lakes within 2 kilometers
of the town centre. These salt lakes draw moisture from the air
resulting in an extremely low humidity level. It compares
favourably with the Costa's to the South - del Sol, which has a
higher rainfall, and Calida which can be windy.
